Q: Who will be doing the cleaning?
A: Supervised crews of 2 to 4 people depending on the project and the days’ workload. Each employee is drug screened and background checked prior to employment.

Q: What time will HMS staff arrive to clean?
A: Due to the variable nature of our work, it is impossible to guarantee a specific time of arrival. We generally work the hours of 8:00 am to 5:00 pm for residential customers. If you have specific needs, we can give you a window of time when it would be most likely that we can be there.

Q: What about holidays?
A: If your scheduled cleaning falls on a major holiday, HMS will contact you and reschedule as close to your original date of service as possible.

Q: What are your rates?
A: Every home, like every home owner, is unique. The needs in your home will be different than any other. There are many variables that we consider when cleaning your home that include everything from lifestyle to pets and children to level of service desired. For this reason, it is impossible for us to give you a quote without meeting you, seeing your home and making an assessment. Appointment times are flexible and run from 30 to 60 minutes in duration.

Q: How do I pay for services?
A: Payment for the initial service is expected up front at the time that you book services. After that, just leave payment in a sealed HMS envelope every scheduled service day. Unexpected overages can be paid with the next service or mailed to our office.

Q: Do you provide cleaning supplies?
A: Yes. HMS supplies all of the cleaning chemicals, rags, and supplies that are used to clean your home. However, if you have chemical aversions, or if you have a specific product that you want used in your home, we are happy to use it if you provide it.

Q: What is a color-coded micro fiber cleaning system?
A: HMS staff uses a different color microfiber cloth for each different task and rags are kept separate during the laundering process as well. Color coding ensures cross contamination is kept to an absolute minimum. Microfiber technology allows us to use fewer chemicals when cleaning while getting surfaces much cleaner.

Q: Do I need to be here when HMS cleans?
A: No. In fact, most of our customers prefer not to be present when we clean.

Q: Do you do one time cleaning?
A: Sure! While most of our customers enjoy weekly or bi-weekly service, we tailor services to provide the exact level of service you need.

Q: Do you clean campers and RV's?
A: Absolutely. No job is too big or too small and we will treat your camper or RV with the same care and attention to detail as we would your home or business.

Q: Do you have gift certificates?
A: Yes we do. Gift certificates are available in any denomination.

Q: Am I responsible for worker’s compensation, insurance or employment taxes?
A: No. Unlike when you hire an individual to work in your home, you are not liable for any of those things. HMS takes care of all of those concerns so that you don’t have worry!

Q: What if something is damaged during cleaning?
A: Our trained staff will treat your property with the utmost respect and care. Unfortunately, accidents sometimes happen. In the event of an accident, HMS will use every resource available to repair or replace damaged property or to make amends. If necessary and appropriate, insurance claims will be filed as soon as possible.

Q: What is your Satisfaction Guarantee?
A: Our staff strives to offer consistently superior service quality every time. However, if something isn’t quite right, let us know within 24 hours of your cleaning and we will have our staff back to resolve the issue at our first opportunity free of charge.
